Rose, Cardamom & Hawthorn Herbal Mocktail [Vlog Tutorial]
Let’s bring back the vintage cordial. We crafted this sweet, elegant, and simple mocktail after the classic drink. Cordials are traditionally an herbal concoction preserved with honey or sugar and alcohol. Historically, cordials have been enjoyed both as an indulgence and used for ailments – For example, the well-known Elderflower Cordial as a remedy for a fever. Their light and sugary flavor can be enjoyed as a mid-day delight or work well in place of dessert.
This Rose, Cardamom, & Hawthorn Cordial is a simple way to enjoy your herbs and their nourishing properties.
Enjoy this drink when you’re in the mood to wind down and open-up. Or slip into a rosey and intimate mood complimented by the aphrodisiac qualities of this blend.
Put on your rose colored glasses. Open your heart. And keep calm.
Slow down and smell the roses. Rose (Rosa spp.) is the quintessential heart herb. It is well known to soothe the soul, tonify the tissues, and bring feelings of sweetness and well-being. In fact, Hawthorn (Cretagus monogyna) is a classic cardiovascular tonic. It promotes circulation and that open-hearted feeling. Cardamom (Elletaria cardamomum) brings warmth and carminative properties to name only a few.
We like to add our Serenity Now tincture into the mix for additional calming, reassuring, and soothing herbal actions.
